to the long beach of Gumbet. Initially Gumbet was considered to be a
village close to lively Bodrum town, but now it has become the
liveliest town of southwest Turkey.
The Bodrum Castle is of historical importance and must be visited. It has a great collection of historical shipwrecks .There are many boat trips available to the areas close to Gumbet. You can go the the other popular beaches like the Torba beach, Carnel beach, Bitez beach, Turgutreis Beach or the one topless beach. You can go to the Milas carpet village where you can get some exotic carpets made from original sheep hair.
The waterfalls of Pamukkale can also be visited from Gumbet and the amphitheatre , ruins of the largest open air -museums in the world, Ephesus .
In front of the Gumbet ,you have the Greek Islands of Kos that has a typical Greek culture and is popular for Camel rides and scuba diving courses , and it is a different country with a different culture.

Still before 20 years one went to foot from Bodrum here, in order to enjoy calm beach life - today Bodrum of Gumbet

Absolutely central (and hyper+loud) convenient plant for the party public (usually from UK and Holland - German overall offerers do not dare probably!). The service seems to need during the day exactly the same much sleep like the guests - but the clay/tone is loose - and there is each quantity pretty on girls ' boys.

Actually a very beautiful plant with loud pluses. Good layer, good equipment, good pool, beautiful rooms, even in the Disco is which the matter... Unfortunately only totally in the hands of Thomson, UK - if not a German individually booked, remains Englishmen and Scots under itself.
Mystery Disco:
As long as the UK garage scene does not come to Gumbet
, that might remain the No.1. How hot here at night it becomes, the six gigantic blowers under the cover let suspect. If the red burned Minirock Girls dances too loud (!?!) on the bar stools, the police makes the shop always times close for a few days. Opposite of alkane Aparts

Since it gives such a thing nearly everywhere, one should not too often change the tavern...
Amigos: Osman Nuribegin Cad., at the coastal road
Direction Bodrum. A good Mexican in the typical Ranchero style. Prettily decorated, there are Nachos, Tortillas and Enchiladas.
China Town: Adnan Menderes Cad. opposite Siesta. Rather strongly visited restaurant. The map gives itself versatile: British, Mexican, Turkish, Indian, Italian - that wants to be able to do one everything. But are caution, all supplements specially listed, which can become fast expensive.
Guards restaurant: Mister Hadi Cad., road of the Parkim Palas direction Bodrum. This in the year 1972 opened restaurant (of the hotel Bagevleri) was the first beach restaurant in Gumbet
. Today a very beautiful garden, with English kitchen, but it gives also Spaghetti, Turkish classical authors and a large Dessertkarte.
